There’s not much of an interior design center in Berlin…a bit of a disappointment, but there are tons of small art galleries showing the latest and greatest emerging international artists. One of the most impressive installations was spotted at Aando Fine Art where New York artist, Buhm Hong’s gigantic mobile of mirrored organic forms entwined in a structure of interlaced pipes was spotted spinning in the center of a small room. While projectors subtly placed background images against the walls and neon colors bounced off the organic mirror forms, tinkling music softly played in the background, simulating the movement of the mirrored forms moving through the air. It was all quite mesmerizing and beautifully fantastic…. I literally had to be dragged away from it… But not before I captured it so I could share it with you.
Ciao, Ciao ’til Tuesday!
