EDUARDO GARZA: EXQUISITE BEAUTY IN THE SURREAL AND FANTASTICAL

In case you were wondering what to get the person who has everything, or  you personally have a desire  for a simply way out there beautiful accessory for your home, you have come to the right blog. Today I am featuring

the highly talented EDUARDO GARZA , an artisan who produces unusually alluring and artistic accessories that are not for the feint of heart.

His work is bold and dramatic and utilizes, among other things, crystals, skulls, precious and semi precious jewels, 24 karat gold , ostrich eggs, and a whole bunch of other organic materials to create some outstanding pieces.

According to his press releases, his work can be found in the homes of numerous people in the know, and authorities on style and decor.  His work is highly sophisticated and well crafted and pricey, so I wouldn’t doubt this claim.

Top retailers, like Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus and Harry Winston Jewelers sell his unique pieces. I must admit I find them truly elegant and with a bit of a ‘wild and wonderful’ touch to them.

His marvelous boxes are really jewel boxes of another nature.  The contrast of the sparkling stones against golden lucite is both bold and beautiful.   He also makes mirrors, knobs for furniture, napkin rings, and jeweled objects.

AND then you have his skulls…human, gorilla, tiger, alligator…covered in gold or silver. Rather outrageous, but I think that is what GARZA wants you to think.  You know, a bit out of the box, but beauty is found everywhere, especially when covered in gold or silver!

For the record, he swears that he uses only ethically sourced materials, so not to concern yourself with the PC factor about his creations.

I admire his individuality and his ‘pushing  of the veritable envelope attitude’, and  I must confess they are really like nothing else I have seen.  You cannot deny that the exotic factor of his work earns a big 10+  and he deserves  to be recognized for excellence in dezign.
